You know why you need to find a stop smoking remedy.  It is hard to ignore all the reasons why smoking is detrimental to your physical and emotional state.  When you smoke you are at higher risk for heart disease, stroke, cancer, and respiratory problems.  Smokers just don’t feel as well as non-smokers.  Smokers have been shown to miss more work due to illnesses than non-smokers.  Smoking isn’t just a problem for the smoker.  Children who are regularly exposed to secondhand smoke have higher rates of bronchitis, pneumonia, and ear infections.  Not to mention the devastating effects that cigarette smoke can have on children with asthma.

Smoking doesn’t just make you feel poorly on the inside, it also ages you on the outside.  The wrinkles around the mouth, the leathery look of the skin, the stained teeth and fingers are all visible signs of smoking.  The good news is that when you find a stop smoking remedy that really works, you can reverse many of these effects or at least slow their progression.

While you may have to pay a fee for a quality stop smoking remedy, consider it an investment.  The return on this investment will be huge.  Not only will you have the health improvements, you will actually see more money in your pockets.  Just think of all the things you will be able to do with the money that you are no longer spending on cigarettes.  You could finally pay off your credit card and maybe even go a well deserved weekend away.

When you get on a stop smoking remedy plan, you will start to see other benefits as well.  You can invite people over to your home without being embarrassed by the smell.  You won’t have to worry about your kids getting picked on at school because their clothes reek of cigarettes.  You really can’t even measure the number of ways that quitting smoking will improve your life and the lives of the people you love. Don’t forget to check with your doctor before you undertake any new smoking cessation program to make sure you are ready to deal with any adverse withdrawal symptoms.  Once you get the thumbs up from your doctor, you are ready to go.  Start your search for an effective plan to quit smoking at Stop Smoking Formula, http://www.stopsmokingformula.com, where you will find the help you need to reach you goal.

*** Do Not Quit Smoking! Click Here ***

We all know that smoking is bad for health which is why many smokers try to quit. However, it is easier said than done for regular smokers to give up smoking. This is mainly because of the momentary pleasure that we derive from nicotine in cigarettes. This chemical triggers the pleasure centers in the brain and stimulates the body. Nicotine is responsible for addiction whereas other 3999 additives and substances in the cigarettes such as ammonia, naphthalene, acetone, butane, formaldehyde and tar cause serious health problems.

About smoking

1 in every 10 people across the globe die because of a smoking related disease. Cancers, emphysema, respiratory disorders, amputation of arms or legs, cataracts, ulcers are just some of the long-term problems a smoker is likely to face. Smoking not only affects your life but those too who are with you or dependant on you, especially children and pregnant women. You should stop smoking for them, if not for you.

Why should I stop smoking?

By quitting smoking you will see a vast improvement in your in fitness, a positive mental state, a better sex life and improved career prospects. These benefits can be seen in just weeks once you stop smoking. You can even stop smoking for the sake of your loved ones or children, as by smoking you are jeopardizing not only your health and life but their lives too.

Why smoking cessation treatments?

Nicotine, the addictive substance in cigarettes, is responsible for smoking addiction. Some smokers are not addicted to nicotine only; they are hooked on to the act of smoking because of the habit. Need for treatment arises when a smoker is physically as well as psychologically addicted to smoking. Immediate treatment is directly related to the number of cigarettes smoked during a day. The more the number of cigarettes smoked; the more the number of years of addiction; the more important and necessary it becomes to get smoking cessation treatment.

Smoking cessation treatments

There are various types of smoking cessation treatments on the market. From nicotine replacement therapies and stop smoking programs to prescription medications and alternative therapies. Out of all these treatments, only prescription medications, Chantix and Zyban are clinically tested and proven.

Pros and cons of the most popular treatments of smoking cessation

Here’s a list of the 3 most popular forms of smoking cessation treatments and their pros and cons:

1) Nicotine replacement therapies

  • Provide nicotine minus other dangerous substances in cigarettes thereby taking care of nicotine withdrawals
  • A slight risk of re-addiction is involved when using these products as they contain nicotine and a person is not completely weaned off nicotine

2) Zyban

  • Primarily an anti-depressant drug, Zyban works for smoking cessation by taking targeting withdrawals
  • Carries a risk of side effects such as skin rashes, jitters and seizures

3) Chantix

  • The latest aid for smoking cessation, which helps by reducing nicotine cravings and withdrawals
  • Linked to a very small number of psychiatric problems and suicidal behavior

I know it’s her choice but i’d atleast like too try too convince her too stop smoking, as she’s ill enough as it is without fueling it with her cancer sticks.

I’ve tried everything and jokingly the other day I said – ‘Ah well – by smoking atleast your giving people jobs’ – now everytime I say something about it too her she uses that as an excuse.

Any ideas? thanks.

you can pretend that oyu started smoking and when she asks you what you are doing tell her that she does it so why can’t you.

or you can show her pictures of emphysema and people with black lungs.

or you can have a long conversation with her and tell her that you will support her trying to give up smoking and tell her that its dangerous for her and your family.

He stopped smoking about 7 months ago, but was using nicotine mints for most of this time. He has been depressed and isn’t even proud of the fact that he’s come so far. He says he just wishes he could smoke again. What can I do? Advice from former smokers, please! (I never smoked.)

try to keep his mind off of it by doing some fun things…like going on walks or anything physical. try and keep him away from smokers…like don’t sit in bars and stuff like that. Try and keep him in a positive frame of mind. I’m sorry…..i’m a smoker and I tried to quit a bunch of times and never have so 7 months is really good. Find out what exactaly he is depressed about b/c more than likely he is depressed about something else and because of that wants to smoke. Good luck

The NHS spends £billions treating smoking related illness. It also spends substantial sums – £millions – on smoking cessation programmes and drugs/ aides to help people stop.
If a single session with a hypnotherapist was as effective as claimed you could be certain they’d be trained and used within the NHS. As it is, the NHS does not employ a single hypnotherapist for smoking cessation treatments. There is NO evidence for them to change their minds on the subject.
So, if you are thinking of giving a bucketload of cash to a hypnotherapist – forget it.

Most people know that it is the addictive nature of nicotine…which, by the way equals in the same ranks as crack cocaine, that makes it so hard to quit. Kicking this addiction is most certainly a difficult task, but once you begin looking at the pros to the cons it’s almost an open and shut decision. You might want to think of reasons like improved health, longer life expectancy, and higher quality of living as some of the pros that will help kick your will power into overdrive. Below are a couple suggestions that might help you conquer this addiction for good.

If Your Wanting to Stop Smoking-Consider The Reasons for Doing So

There are always good reasons to toss that pack of cancer sticks in the garbage, you just have to realize the benefits of them all. The most common reason would obviously be improved health, but there are so many other benefits that can easily neighbor that. I’m sure the financial properties can take the second position. Think about all your hard earned cash that is just tossed away on a weekly basis on a product that is banashing you to an early grave. Think about how much time you’ve wasted at home or work simply because you were outdoors honing the addiction? I’m sure you could easily think of ways to better use that time. Also, if you have kids it’s not just your health that your jeopardizing. Second hand smoke can be absolutely damaging to a child’s health. Grab a pencil and paper and jot these reasons down. Place them in an area where they will be presented as a daily reminder of why you are making this smart decision. My husband asked me to stop smoking and he has tried many times. The only thing different this time is that he was going to stop drinking. As long as me and his friend does not smoke he will not drink. Now he is telling me that he is not giving drinking up for good just until the urge to smoke is gone. I dont think that is fair. But would you quit if your loved one asked you too?

umm.. to be honest i have been trying to quit for years. and every reason was for someone else. you have to really want to quit for yourself and be determined for it to work. join a cessation group. and also drinking is another ball park entirely. go visit the doctor together and get some tips. if he is an alcoholic go to AA with him.

it is best to cut out all unhealthy habits, and instead of using drinking against your smoking you both will need to be a support for each other. relapses are common when quitting anything, so it isn’t about the relapse but about how you get back to your goal rather than letting it set you back.

just start with a doctor visit for the both of you. good luck!

My dad got hypnotized and it worked!!! I would never have thought he would stick with it, but honestly, he walked out of a session and never picked up another cigarette. He had tried the patches, gum, meds, etc and when he said he was going to get hypnotized we were all laughing and joking about it. He honestly never picked up another cigarette. Hope this helps.
