How do i get this idiot to stop smoking in my house?

I rent a room in a house because that’s all i can afford at the moment. When i first moved in the landlord said that there is no smoking allowed in the house. This moron i live with smokes inside the house all of the time and it really bothers me. He’s too lazy to get off of his fat as.s and go outside. I told the landlord and he talked to him but the idiot still smokes in the house. I have asked myself him several of times to stop and i have even threataned to call a smoking enforcement officer on him but he still smokes inside. A few months ago i got really sick and ended up with pneumonia and he didn’t care. I’m sick right now and i’m affraid that i will get pneumonia again but he still doesn’t care and continues to smoke. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can get the bastard to stop smoking in the house?

Hi, I used to live in a room in a house just like your identical situation. My landlord and one of my roommates (via landlord’s approval) would smoke downstairs in the kitchen while the bedrooms were upstairs. When you come into the house you can’t tell that there’s anyone that smokes in the house at all and as far as I know it never bothered anyone. I think the landlord should threaten to kick the jerk out of the house if they keep it up– after all, it IS their house and if they want it to smell like smoke then it’s their choice really… Good luck! =)
