Stop smoking hypnosis is the best way to achieve better and faster results if you really want to quit. It is a life changing decision and the earlier you know how to quit smoking, the better for you as it is a passport to a healthier life. Conviction and making your self belief stronger on the lines that YOU CAN DO IT, is the best way.

It is a more effective alternative than depending on drugs or stop smoking tablets that don’t work like true grit and determination does. Many people use patches, but they too are made of nicotine as are the electronic e cigarettes that release vapor. By inhaling vapor, you take in small dozes of nicotine unknowingly and do not really benefit from the process.

Convince your mind

Stop smoking hypnosis is convincing your mind that you just do not need to light up another cigarette once again. By prolonging the urge, you end up concentrating your mind on other gainful things rather than on smoking a cigarette. Your mind is the instrument that makes you act and if you can take charge, you won’t allow negative thoughts to creep in.

Make a pledge every morning

Begin by making a pledge in the morning when you get up from bed. Ask yourself why you should be smoking at all. Beginning the day with real time positive thoughts can bottle up the urge to smoke later on during the day. The positive spirit you kick start early in the morning will hold on till the better part of the day.

Ponder over heath hazards

Convince your mind about the health hazards and cancer warnings on the packs these days. Do you really want to kill yourself by smoking cigarettes? Some popular advertisement models like the Marlborough man got killed by cancer. The scary ads on packs these days are enough to discourage the smoker from lighting up.

Drink water

Third, drink water whenever you feel like lighting up. It can fill up your stomach and stop the craving for cigarettes.  Water is filling and after some time, your urge for lighting up will lessen. If you carry on with the practice every time you feel the urge, you can slowly use the hypnosis to get rid of the habit.

Read a book

Read a book instead and chew a pen whenever you feel like a cigarette which is a stop smoking hypnosis and effective as well. Moving your concentration to something more positive is a great way to quit smoking and lead a smoke free life.
Self hypnosis to get relief from the harmful habit is nothing new and practiced by large number of smokers coast to coast.

Smoking used to be cool. It was a way to be independent, to be rebellious, to show your strength. But since the medical world has linked smoking to so many health issues, it has lost favor in society. More and more, smokers are being made aware that though they may be welcome in public places, their habit of smoking is not.

You used to be able to smoke on airplanes, in restaurants, even in some offices. But those days are gone, and many smokers are ready to quit, freeing themselves from a habit that costs them time, money and health.

There are many options to help smokers quit – nicotine patches and gum are sold at most every grocery store and drugstore, supposedly helping smokers wean themselves from the nicotine in the cigarettes. Do they work? According to the Shiffman “Real-world” study, only 3% of those using the Rx nicotine patch and 9.2% of those using the OTC patch were not smoking at six months. In the nicotine gum groups, only 7.7% of the Rx gum group and 8.4% in the OTC gum group were not smoking at six months. Sadly, the average for the four groups was just 7%.

Then there are the stop smoking pills that have become available…according to studies, they can be effective for a small percentage of people, but the side affects are a bit dramatic. People taking Chantrix, for example, can suffer from anxiety, nervousness, tension, depressed mood, unusual behaviors and thinking about or attempting suicide. I think I’d rather smoke.

Many studies have proven the effectiveness of counseling and hypnosis for smoking. In many study groups, counseling along with another treatment method boosted results noticeably, and counseling or therapy on it’s own has been show to be effective with smokers trying to quit cold turkey.

Hypnosis has been proven very effective for smoking cessation, citing reports of 40% to more than 60% success, even after 6 months and beyond. Yes, there are side effects…let’s see. Increased self esteem, improved health, sense of well being, decrease in anxiety and nervousness. That sounds a lot better than unusual behaviors and depression!

There are a few things you should know about hypnosis. It’s easy, you’re totally in control, and it can be a profound experience. Hypnosis is simply a relaxed, meditative-like state where you can access and change your inner beliefs – and habits, like smoking. Habits come from your inner, subconscious mind, so doesn’t it make sense that you can change habits by visiting that part of your mind? Your hypnotist is simply your guide.

Many people think they can’t be hypnotized, but they just don’t understand what hypnosis really is. Most people go into a state of hypnosis every day, while reading a book, watching TV or even driving a car (ever heard of highway hypnosis?). It’s simply a focused state of awareness where your subconscious mind is accessible.

A good hypnotist will spend time with you, helping you understand their program, which can range from one to more than twelve sessions. When you choose a hypnotist, you’ll want to find one that does more than just read you a script. More seasoned hypnotists will help you find the reasons that you are compelled to smoke, and help you resolve them. They will have techniques to help desensitize you from smoking, and retrain your brain for success as a non-smoker.

To be successful in a hypnosis session, you’ll want to find a hypnotist that makes you feel comfortable and at ease, and one with a structured stop smoking program. Find out how many sessions they usually recommend for smoking cessation, and whether they charge by the session or the program. One hypnotist may charge $200, and have a reputation for helping you quit in just one session, another may charge just $50 per session, but sell you a 12-session program. Either way, however, you win. Just consider how much money you’ll be saving when you quit! You’ll be doing your body, mind and wallet a favor.

*** Do Not Quit Smoking! Click Here ***

Here are 13 hidden secrets about stopping smoking with hypnosis that most people just do not know. Once you understand them, you too can kick your nicotine habit using only the power of your mind.

1. What is an addiction and how does it affect me?
An addiction is a subconscious habit which leads to a physical and emotional dependence. It doesn’t have to be real or rational to anyone else (or often the addicted person) it just has to make sense to them underneath their surface in their subconscious mind. They then have anchors which trigger pangs which make them repeats certain addictive behaviours which reinforce their problem. Like being stuck in traffic and reaching for a cigarette.

2. Is hypnosis a good first resort to giving up an addiction?
Hypnosis isn’t a guaranteed ‘cure all’ but it can be very effective for dealing with addictions. It is non-invasive and doesn’t involve any medication. Personally, I would go to a certified hypnotherapist before doing anything else.

3. Should I try everything else first like seeing a shrink, patches or gum?
As psychologist will ask you to go over all the experiences again. This just makes things more vivid and real to you. You want them to go away and then stop thinking about them. Everything else can help for some people and often a combination of them can help your mind become attuned to stopping.

4. How does hypnosis work?
Hypnosis deals with your subconscious mind. A habit is based in your subconscious mind and therefore it’s like an itch you can’t scratch, but you can feel.

Imagine your mind to be an iceberg with a small part above the surface (conscious mind) and most below (subconscious and unconscious). Above the surface are all the things that you can easily control like your will power, your decision making and your short term memory (are you thinking about what you had for breakfast? – you are now). Below the surface are the things that sit nestled into your mind’s powerful engine. This includes your imagination, long term memory, emotions, beliefs, values, senses, automatic protective factor, motor functions and habits.

Take a look at these two areas of the iceberg and guess which part contains all your links to addictions like smoking, drinking or an ex-partner. It’s all in your subconscious mind, which means that will power alone isn’t going often to be enough to guarantee kicking the habit.

5. Is it dangerous?
It is not dangerous at all. Your mind is healing itself. A skilled therapist will help you to do this even faster. With NLP (neuro linguistic programming) and hypnosis I have removed addictions in less than an hour.

6. Do I have to believe in it for it to work?
It doesn’t matter whether you believe in hypnosis for it to work. It is like not believing in electricity and switching on the light, or ignoring gravity and jumping. It is real and it works very well indeed. Things will be more effective if you’re open to it as your subconscious mind will feel more comfortable with the process.

7. Can hypnosis replace willpower?
They are completely different things. Hypnosis works with your subconscious mind and will power with your conscious. A habit takes about 30 days of repetition to become part of your system and so if every day you use will power to avoid cigarettes and smoke nothing after 30 days this will be a new habit. It will be tough though and it doesn’t have to be. A hypnotherapy session will do this work for you and with a few new anchors (like drinking water, enjoying your breathing and thinking about your best day every day) you will have a brilliant new life as though the addiction never happened. Of course if you had a physical addiction (like heroin) there may be other recommended additions to the treatment but in principle they are all more effective than just willpower. You need willpower want to stop in the first place and then to book an appointment of go to one of my websites to buy your stop smoking treatment.

8. Can it cure me of any addiction?
I don’t know if any addiction which can’t be cured by hypnosis. I have helped many people deal with smoking, drinking, over eating, nail biting and so on with great success. I have also used the same techniques to conquer fear of flying, dentists and other phobias too.

9. How many sessions do I need?
I recommend 2-3 sessions normally but often things can be sorted out in one go. By making many of these sessions available online, you can experience them as many times as you want in the comfort of your home and then share them with a friend once you are cured.

10. Do I need any follow up treatment?
You don’t usually need a top up. It depends on what you do after you have quit. I have on occasion met people who were tested at a party to see if they still enjoyed cigarettes and started again after 6 smoke free months. The lesson here is don’t put it in your mouth again!

11. Will this work forever?
As for will it work forever, who can say? I have clients who haven’t smoked now for 5+ years after one or two sessions, which I think is pretty good.

12. What do I need to know/ do before I try hypnosis?
Nothing, except that you really have to want to stop. You have to take ownership of the problem before approaching anyone else. Then just have an open mind to the future possibilities of being free of your addiction and lie back and relax. It’s that simple.

13. Are there any side effects?
With my systems, I teach Life Design at the same time so the only side effects are being permanently relaxed and chilled out and also knowing how to create your perfect life for the future. Oh and the addiction has gone too.

Are you concerned about your health? If you want to quit smoking, hypnosis is the healthiest method. Just think about it for a minute. A quit smoking hypnosis program will teach your healthy habits that you can use for life. But quit smoking drugs have potentially dangerous side effects.

But just as dangerous can side effects be? After all, a lot of the drugs have to be prescribed by a doctor. Doesn’t a doctor’s supervision automatically make taking drugs to quit smoking safe? And aren’t they worth it if the end result is that you don’t smoke anymore?

First, you have to understand that all drugs have side effects. And some of them are more serious than others. You’re already addicted to nicotine, which is a heavy-duty poison. Did you know nicotine has been used for centuries as an insecticide to kill insects?

Well, when you use a nicotine patch or nasal sprays that are compounded with nicotine, you’re still delivering that poison into your system. True, you’re getting doses small enough that they won’t kill you as long as you follow the directions carefully.

But a long-time smoking habit isn’t just about the physical addiction to nicotine. People who have smoked for a number of years to develop “smoking rituals”. Those are the small actions that get repeated every time you smoke.

They are small things, like the way you hold your hand when you smoke your cigarette. Do you hold your cigarette between your index and middle fingers? Or do you like to hold it between your thumb and index finger?

You keep your lighter in your pants pocket? How many times a day do you reach for your lighter? Do you think it’s a coincidence that when you reach for your keys in your pocket, you suddenly crave a cigarette?

It’s no coincidence. Putting your hand in your pocket has become part of a “smoking ritual” that triggers your urge to smoke. Even if you just finished smoking a cigarette a few minutes ago, when you put your hand in your pocket again, you’ll think about having a cigarette.

That’s where the nicotine replacement drugs, like the patch and the nasal sprays and inhalers, can become dangerous. They take care of the physical cravings, but they don’t address the smoking rituals. So a lot of people end up using the quit smoking drugs, smoking their cigarettes or cigars on top of it.

That puts them in danger of having a nicotine overdose. Just because you don’t drop dead on the spot from smoking a cigarette or cigar, doesn’t mean that you can’t overdose on nicotine. You can. Not only can an overdose of nicotine make you violently ill, it can kill you on the spot. Like a dead bug hit with insecticide.

And what about the quit smoking pills? You can’t get them without a prescription, so you would think that they would be safe. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. Even under a doctor’s supervision, some of the drugs themselves are just not safe.

If you take the time to read the list of potential side effects that these drugs can cause, it will make you think twice about taking them. You want to quit smoking because you want to be healthy. But do you really want to risk damage to your heart, liver, kidney and other internal organs while you’re in the process of quitting smoking?

There are other safer methods to quit smoking that don’t have any kind of physical health risk at all. No, you don’t have to quit smoking cold turkey. Hypnosis has the best long-term success rate of any of the methods that people use to quit smoking. And the side effects of using hypnosis, long term are actually good for you.

A good hypnosis program will give you tools to help ease the nicotine cravings. You’ll also learn ways to deactivate those “smoking ritual” triggers. And that’s really important for long-term success.

Of all the methods people use to quit smoking, hypnosis is the most effective. There are studies that show that when people use quit smoking hypnosis programs they are successful more than 60% of the time. When you compare that with the success rates of quit smoking drugs (20% to 30%), it makes a lot of sense to use hypnosis programs.

But what exactly happens during hypnosis when it’s used to quit smoking? Basically, you put yourself into a light trance state. You’re not asleep, but you’re not intently focused on your everyday thoughts. You’re in a state of deep relaxation, but you’re still able to hear and respond to the world around you.

A lot of people think they can’t be hypnotized. They know they’re usually tense and have trouble relaxing. But most people can learn relaxation techniques. And that’s really all you need to be able to do for a successful quit smoking hypnosis program.

There are a lot of hypnosis programs that claim that you will quit smoking after one session. This is actually quite possible. Many people report that they have quit smoking for several hours or the rest of the day after only one session.

But that doesn’t mean you never have to use the self hypnosis program began. In reality, when you use a hypnosis program to stop smoking, you’re learning an ongoing technique. You’ll be able to use it for the rest of your life, whenever the urge to smoke comes up.

Think of it this way: if you take a golf lesson, your swing could be greatly improved after only one lesson. But you’d still have to practice that new technique every time you play golf.

It’s the same when you learn a hypnosis technique to stop smoking. Every time you get a nicotine craving, you have a choice to make. You can light up a cigarette or cigar, or you can practice your hypnosis technique.

So will you have to take hypnosis “lessons” forever? Well, think about the golf lesson analogy. If you want to improve your golf game, do you have to take golf lessons forever? Of course not!

You take a lesson to improve your swing, then you go out and practice what you’ve learned. And the more you practice, the better you get, and the easier it is to play well.

But even if your game improves a lot after that one lesson (and lots of practice), there might come a time when you would want to take another lesson. What if you had an accident and hurt your knee, or you just couldn’t play golf for several months? You might need a refresher lesson just to get back into shape.

It’s the same thing when you use hypnosis to quit smoking. You learn it. You practice it. You improve your technique. And the beauty of it is, even though your goal is to quit smoking forever, if that doesn’t happen after your first hypnosis try, you can still try again until you reach your goal.

When your goal is to quit smoking for good, you haven’t failed unless you stop trying. Chances are you’ve already tried to quit smoking at least once. So you already know that it’s not an easy thing to do.

The reality is that most people try to quit smoking several times before they finally quit for good. So instead of beating yourself up for relapsing, think of it as getting one step closer to your final goal. As long as you keep trying to quit, there is no doubt that you will be successful. And using hypnosis will definitely help you achieve your goal.
